Abstract
Extensive wideband BS-array measurements have been performed in urban Aalborg. At two BS sites, 8 dual polarized array columns have been measured simultaneously for UMTS uplink/downlink bands, thus providing 32 independent channels. Results show high values of uplink diversity gain are possible as well as very similar mean DOA (direction of arrival) between uplink and downlink bands.
