Title :
Interharmonics-recommended updates to IEEE 519
Author :
Gunther, Erich W.
Abstract :
Over the last several years, much work has been done in the field of interharmonics. International standards organizations have defined the terminology, organizations and individuals have published significant work on their impacts on equipment and humans, and some guidelines for allowable levels in power systems have been proposed. This paper summarizes much of that work and makes recommendations suitable for inclusion in the next revision of IEEE 519 - the harmonic standard. This paper is the result of work by all of the members of the IEEE Interharmonic Task Force sponsored by the Harmonics Working Group.
