Title :

Abstract :
The performance of multi-code systems is limited by inter-channel interference (ICI) resulting from the multipath effect in the radio channel. In order to lower the error floor, advanced processing techniques, similar to the multiuser detection methods, may be implemented in the receiver. An adaptive MMSE receiver is investigated with the application to the multi-code system. It is shown that the irreducible BER can be reduced an order of magnitude.
