            Abstract :
Based on the single user detection and delay tracking, we derive formulas from perturbation theory for multi-user detection (MUD) in CDMA systems. Higher order perturbation corrects more errors without incurring much complexity. We use simple models to simulate asynchronous CDMA in multi-path environments and show that the perturbation MUD reduces the effects of interference and hence outperforms rake receivers.
