Parabolic and triangular wave oscillator with sliding mode

On the basis of the theory of variable structure control systems (VSCS) with sliding modes, a new mathematical method for the design of high performance electronic triangular- and parabolic wave generators has been proposed. Theoretically obtained results were verified experimentally using a conservative oscillator controlled by a microprocessor.
