Abstract :
A accident due to mutual inductance coupling interference of grounding net short-circuit current to secondary cable systems in a 500 kV substation is analyzed in detail. Mutual inductance and differential mode voltage measurement between cables under different distance, length and the type of cable connection have been conducted. Simulation experiments according to typical secondary cable connections have also been accomplished.
