Abstract :
This paper describes the developmental work carried out at Sensis Corporation in prototyping a Traffic Information Service-Broadcast (TIS-B) system and its applications in the field as part of two separate projects. Also covered is the prototype development of the 1090 MHz transmitter and the TIS-B server application - components of the TIS-B system. A prototype system has just been deployed in the field as part of the NAVAIR SBIR Phase II project.
