Abstract :
There are many ways to represent and to model traffic in a cellular system, but not always are these representations good enough to explain how the users are distributed; on the other hand, the probability of any user to move from one place to another inside one a cell is also important. We use a concept called the attractor, i.e., places where people spend time and the diffusion process to represent the mobility of users. We establish a new way to distribute users in a cell, and relate this distribution with the mobility of the users, so that we capture the effects of interference in quality of service (QoS) measured by Eb/N0 and show that in some scenarios, performance is degraded below desirable values.
