Abstract :
A new call admission control algorithm in the uplink is proposed for 3G WCDMA TDD systems. The call admission control algorithm guarantees that the outage probability requirement can be met for the new users and existing users in the system. The algorithm allocates resource based on dynamic SIR requirement, and optimizes the outage probability for the assignment. Performance of the proposed algorithm and other algorithms in the technical literature are obtained in simulation and compared in different system scenarios.
