  • Abstract
    Application of standard 87T differential relays for special power transformers is quite simple. In most cases, all necessary data are readily available on the rating plate of protected special transformers. The presented test cases are either disturbance data captured in actual installations of special power transformers or RTDS simulations based on actual data for a dual-core, symmetric, phase-shifting transformer.
