Abstract :
An essential parameter in the setting up of the performance of measurement systems that use Hall microsensors is the magnetic offset of these devices. This paper defines the offset equivalent magnetic induction for Hall plates and magnetotransistors, and it also emphasises the way this characteristic is influenced by the device geometry and material proprieties.
