Abstract
Single-shot MRI methods (e.g., echo-planar imaging) favored for functional MRI suffer from geometric off-resonance errors and dropout in areas with tissue susceptibility gradients. A new method for single-shot MRI is presented which is free of off-resonance geometric errors, tolerates larger susceptibility gradients, and directly maps relaxation and frequency. Initial simulation and experimental results are presented.
