Abstract :
Diffusion tensor imaging can provide unique information about the white matter architecture. The technique is unique in a sense that it can provide multiple contrasts depending on data processing methods. Based on the fiber orientation information, three-dimensional reconstruction of tract trajectories is also possible. In the paper, possibilities and limitations of various DTI-based visualization techniques are discussed.
