Jitter elimination in accumulator-based pulse frequency synthesizer

A method is suggested for eliminating the jitter inherent in carry pulse trains produced by an accumulator. It relies on the observation that the internal state of the accumulator conveys information on the deviation of each carry pulse from its ideal position. Example experimental waveforms are provided of a frequency synthesizer using the above jitter-elimination method.
