Abstract :
With a method of synthesis of optical fibers a profile of a refractive index in cross-section of a single-mode fiber with a non-zero displaced dispersion of a wavelength band at 1.55 - 1.625 /spl mu/K, increased frequency band of a single-mode regime and increased effective area is obtained.
