Abstract
The paper presents the post-acquisition adaptive digital filters, and describes their block diagram and characteristics. This advantageous type of digital filtering can be used for processing any types of signal in different applications. In this paper a special field of adaptive filter application is introduced. The main part deals with the application of adaptive filters in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) tomography for the gradient magnetic field measurements and gives a comparison of different types of filtering method.
