Abstract :
It is shown that by utilizing the method of Tchebichef (also know as Chebyshev) moments, an image degraded by Gaussian, salt-and-pepper and speckle noise can be restored. The performance of Tchebichef moments is compared with that of Zernike and Legendre moments.
