  • Abstract
    Chirped-pulse amplification in the ultraviolet region is demonstrated by use of a broadband Ce:LiCaAlF6 laser medium. For the TW CPA system, a coaxially pumped, large-aperture ultraviolet power-amplifier is demonstrated with stable pump source using Li2B4O7 crystals.
