Abstract
We present a circuit concept to improve the performance of CMOS photo-receivers. A duty-cycle control stage is used to reduce the impact of device matching. Both simulation and experimental results indicate that the proposed circuit concept allows us to overcome device matching limits in CMOS photo-receivers.
