President´s message

Happy New Year! Welcome to the Winter Issue of the EMC Society Magazine! Fugit inreparabile tempus! (""it escapes, irretrievable time"", from line 284 of book 3 of Virgil´s Georgics) Seems like just yesterday I took over as the acting President of the EMC Society, and here we are, two years later, and I find myself the Immediate Past President. Speaking of that, please join me in welcoming your new President, Frank Sabath. Frank has been an outstanding member of the Board of Directors (BoD) for several years, and I know he will do a fantastic job as President.
