Abstract :
In this work, we present electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) facilities at National Metrology Institute (UME) in Turkey. At UME for EMC test and measurements, 10 meter open area test site (OATS), 10 meter anechoic chamber and four screened rooms were constructed. OATS with a normalized site attenuation (NSA) value less than /spl plusmn/1 dB is used for antenna calibration and radiated emission measurements. Test and measurements setups for realization of testing in accordance with Mil-Std-46 IE, EN commercial standards, and telecommunication (ETSI) standards included specific absorption rate (SAR) and automotive standards are under developing in anechoic chamber and screened rooms. Anechoic chamber has capability as used semi or fully and four screened rooms have frequency capability between 9 kHz and 40 GHz and electric field strength value up to 200 V/m. is used, for testing at anechoic chamber and four screened rooms.
