Abstract :
The new predictor-based lossless image coding technique is described in the paper. The technique is optimized for coding of images containing large areas of regular texture, and indeed, it is shown that in such cases it is even better than preprocessing stages of renown coding methods, like CALIC or LOCO-1. The technique is intended to be used as a specialized part of predictor blending method.
