Abstract :
The aim of this project was to design an applicable solution for a location system for road vehicles. The basis for the location system is a satellite navigation system (GPS) with an additional location system (ALS). Several types of ALS based on MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) devices were designed. The systems were tested by detailed mathematical modeling of behavior of a vehicle.
