  • Abstract
We suggest a method for extracting nonstationary brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEPs). Endocochlear pathologies have been considered. It is well known that in this case BAEPs may be randomly delayed from a response to another one. The application of the averaging technique generally leads to smoothed BAEP waves. The presented method is based on an optimal correction of delays using the simulated annealing (SA) method. Results are presented and compared to those produced by the classical method.
