Abstract :
We investigate nonparameter nonlinearities mitigation method using a nonlinear electrical equalizer. Simulation of 25GBaud single-carrier single-polarization 16-QAM system shows a Q value improvement of up to around 1dB over 1600km fiber transmission without knowing of any link parameter.
