Switching impulse breakdown in SF6

The paper constitutes an experimental investigation into the impulse voltage strength of different structures in SF6. Impulse voltage waves of both polarities and different fronts were applied at three gaps at different pressures. The fifty percent breakdown voltage and its confidence interval are plotted against wave front time and some explanations are given to try to understand these results and to draw some inferences.
