Abstract :
System identification using fractional-order model gives more suitable explanation of the dynamic system properties that classical integer-order model could provide. The derivative order of fractional-order model is more flexible because it has more degree-of-freedom. In FO modeling, output error method is commonly used is because the process behavior or the system to be modeled is assumed as non-stochastic. In this study, a fractional-order model with variation of commensurate order was considered. The result showed that fractional-order model with commensurate order gives better accuracy.
