Abstract :
The steps of designing an active voltage probe are described; whose characteristics are a very low input capacitance and a wide linear dynamic range, critical limitations in this type of test probes. The design is performed based on low cost commercial components and is simple to implement. This probe was designed with guidance to laboratory use and for teaching purposes. Its main parameters are verified by laboratory measurement.
