Abstract :
This paper presents an expert system which provides a graphical report that correlates strain signals with maintenance tasks. The considered maintenance tasks are related to the repairing of cavitation effects in hydropower turbines. By using simulated data, the performance of the proposed systems can be assessing. In sum, this work displays the usefulness of experts systems to make the supervision of maintenance works in hydropower plants more efficiently.
