The influence of information systems on project management

Project management is based on gathering information regarding the current status of the project execution and comparing it with the original planning. On the other hand, information technologies will also increase the productivity of the scheduled tasks during execution. Finally, the perception of this improved performance increases the satisfaction of decision makers with the information system.
