Abstract
In general, telecommunication systems should provide a simple interface for third party integration. Unfortunately, the interfaces are often too complex, mainly due to the distribution of these systems. Therefore, we implemented a generic LDAP CORBA connector to bridge between these two technologies and to provide a simple, standardized interface. We achieve this by including the mapping information in the CORBA interface definition file. Thus, changes on the application have no direct impact on the connector, only the mapping information has to be updated, which is nested in the interface description´s comment lines. Consequently we achieve robustness due to separation of concerns.
