Abstract :
A plethora of information exists to aid in the development of fuzzy controllers for both industrial and commercial applications. However, a very small subset of fuzzy set theory is really utilised for the synthesis of a fuzzy controller. In this paper it is shown how a decentralised fuzzy controller was designed to independently control the water levels in a four stage cascaded tank system.
