Abstract :
Space-time multiuser detection (ST-MUD) of DS- CDMA is studied in the context of a frequency selective Rayleigh fading vector channel model. The fading correlation between the antenna elements, and the multipath receiver architecture, necessitates a new technique for the computation of the bit error rate (BER). A simplified expression for the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio (SINR) is derived to this end, and a simulation of this SINR is used to compute the BER of the desired user.
