Abstract :
We present the Pocket-IMPACT web-based educational software used by clients with PDAs (personal digital assistants). We present challenges, design guidelines and implementation details of the online courseware. Pocket-IMPACT includes instructional tools that can be used by students and instructors on a PDA-based platform, e.g. taking a quiz, reviewing a lecture, chatting with a TA, entering/checking grade.
