Abstract :
Simple wide-channel-spacing wavelength division multiplexing (WWDM) multi/demultiplexers based on a stack of dielectric interference filters and an off-axis aspheric lens array are demonstrated. The proposed WWDM multi/demultiplexer demonstrated an insertion loss smaller than 5 dB and compact packaging size of 6.4 mm (W) by 2.5 mm (H) by 8.2 mm (D).
