Abstract
A wideband crossambiguity function for maximum likelihood estimation of range, range-rate, and angle of a slowly fluctuating point source in colored, anisotropic, nonstationary, Gaussian interference is derived. It is shown that the unnormalized wideband crossambiguity function is equal to the generalized signal to interference ratio of a multi-input optimum mismatched receiver. Specific examples of the generalized wideband crossambiguity function are presented for the cases where the interference is a wide-sense stationary stochastic process.
