Abstract :
The paper will review the theory and present in detail the properties, implementation and experimental results of the nonlinear maximum entropy spectral analysis method proposed by P.F. Fougere. Both real and complex signals as well as the two-dimensional (separable) signals are considered. Application to signal recognition is also examined.
