Abstract
The multi-target fuzzy decision process is valid in the choice of a product´s overall design scheme in the early stage of the concurrent engineering design, however, according to this method, a trivial process must be followed. Following the neural-network (NN) study method, we can validly judge the quality of the other schemes of the same product after learning the results of the fuzzy decision. The validity of the NN learning method is proved in the early stage decision of CIMS.
