Abstract :
The supervision of biotechnological processes is very difficult to realize by a human operator. The processes are complex and characterized by dynamic behavior. This is the consequence of the existence of living cells and other micro-organism. The satisfactory mathematical model is nonlinear and it is difficult to identify its parameters from such experiments. The paper presents a methodology to design a discrete event system (DES) for the supervision task of a biotechnological process. The DES is synthesized by applying fuzzy logic techniques to the measured signals constrained to the biotechnologist expert validation.
