Abstract
In electronic retail trade agreements reached in automated negotiations include the way in which payment will be implemented. This factor may have certain influence in the acceptance decision. We summarize the reasons why some implementations of electronic payments should be preferred under certain circumstances. Therefore, we propose the use of a scheme of persuasive negotiations in retail trade, where proposals are backed by arguments related to electronic payments.
