Abstract :
Propagation prediction is important for designing indoor wireless communication systems. A technique combining ray tracing and the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is propounded to for modeling indoor radio propagation, in which ML (perfectly matched layer) absorbing boundary conditions are applied to FDTD meshes. The technique is described by considering a simple 2D environment.
