Abstract :
The harmfulness and the diagnostic technique of water trees are discussed in this paper. A water tree grows with time progress and initiation voltage of electrical tree falls according to it. Therefore, the diagnostic technique that can detect the water tree itself is required. The various proposals of the diagnostic technique that paid its attention to the nonlinear voltage-current characteristic of water tree part are made in that case.
