Abstract
A high-frequency (HF) AC distributed power system (DPS) with dual PWM buses is presented. An experimental prototype with a total of 210 W output power for three independent outputs, i.e. 3.3 V@30 A, 5.0 V@10 A, and 12 V@5.1 A, was built to verify the concept presented in this paper. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system works well and the around 80% efficiency, which is 3% higher than that from single bus DPS under same operation conditions, can be obtained.
