Abstract :
The multicarrier (MC) modulation technique has been widely researched for its advantage in the reduction of intersymbol and interchip interference. In this paper, we analyse the transmission statistic characteristics of the MC-CDMA systems based on the tap-delay fading channel model, where correlation among sub-carriers is assumed. We propose a novel method to cancel the effects of the multipath on the transmitted signal, and derive a closed-form bit error rate expression, which overcomes the problems of Junhyun Park et al. (1999). Simulation results demonstrate that the performance of the MC-CDMA system under the correlated fading situation has been over-estimated by the results of Junhyun Park et al.
