  • Abstract
    In this paper, a general investigation on the performance of multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) based on the combination of DS-CDMA and multicarrier modulation (also known as OFDM) is provided. Some user-detection methods for the MC-CDMA system are given and several key performance parameters are analyzed. Meanwhile, in this paper, PMEPR in MC-CDMA has been analyzed and the relationship with the aperiodic autocorrelations and the cross-correlations has been established. Based on the relationship, the use of orthogonal Gold codes was proposed over Walsh-Hadamard codes.
