  • Abstract
    A novel and efficient scheme for image retrieval using both dominant colors of partition and texture features is presented. Partitioning the image and extracting the dominant colors features to get a spatial color feature vector of partition of the original image, we distill the texture features of the image. Similarity measuring of the images is made with the two kinds of feature vectors. The method is more effective because it involves more information of the image.
