  • Abstract
    In order to deal with copyright issues in the digital video broadcasting (DVB) environment, an MPEG domain watermarking algorithm is proposed. The watermark is embedded by modulation of certain DCT coefficients. The threshold of the detector is dynamically adjusted along the time-axis to fit the frame characteristics. The proposed method is of low complexity and is easy to implement in consumer electronics devices. It can be applied in copy control and user tracing scenarios.
