Abstract :
The paper extends the principle, process and method of layered displays and control based on the OpenGL technology to an application for the flight cockpit´s instrument playback system. The author has adopted the C++Builder 4.0 as the program language, using flight parameter data and techniques of quadratic surface, extra clip plane, texture mapping, pattern transform, texture control and depth test, etc. The complex layered display and control of cockpit instrument model can be realized by using the approach.
