Abstract :
This book offers a practical tour of almost everything involved in radio receivers. It is written in a conversation style, which makes it easy to follow and enjoyable to read. The mathematical foundations of receiver characteristics, challenges, and limitations are set forth without the book becoming theoretical. This practical book focuses on receiver design, characterization, and use. Radio Receiver Technology has five chapters, but the concluding chapter functions more like an appendix with useful tables; equations; derivations; and a discussion of cascading noise, gain, and intermodulation intercept points in two ports.
