            Abstract : 
The optimal design of a charge pump PLL is carried out by means of a genetic algorithm. The optimized filter provides a significant reduction of the bandwidth with a limited overshoot. Some tests confirm the proposed approach is able to find a near-optimal solution, assuring good performance.
